Catering for all abilities in year 2 to year 7, will comprise of skills, passing and dribbling, shooting and penalty taking as well as mini games. We have the use of an indoor hall in case of bad weather. We will be offering a multi-sport provision for those who fancy trying something else.

The Trident Leagues, which trace their roots back to the nineteenth century, are at the heart of the national game, with 226 clubs (rising to 240 Clubs in 2021) and 15,000 players registered across the three leagues in the many villages, towns, and cities of England and Wales, bridging the gap between the professional and recreational football worlds.

The Parks Foundation ‘Pilot Parks Project’
FREE 1 Hour Long Sessions at Winton and Christchurch
BCP and The Parks Foundation are working together to improve some of our local parks. Three ‘Pilot Parks’ have been selected as part of their Future Parks Project with the aim to get more people (across all ages) visiting the parks as well as making physical improvements to the spaces.
The selected parks are:
- Alexandra Park in Parkstone
- Watermans Park in Somerford, Christchurch
- Winton Recreation Ground, Bournemouth
Following community consultation during 2020 they have created a Masterplan for each park, with short, medium and long-term goals. Currently they have funding to complete the short-term goals and are currently fundraising for the longer term plans.
Throughout the Pilot Parks Project they are looking at ways of managing and activating the parks to increase footfall, nature and the health and wellbeing of local residents. They will also be looking at how they can engage more volunteers in managing the space to ensure they leave a legacy and the parks continue to flourish in the future.
We are delighted to be teaming up with BCP Council and The Parks Foundation as they launch their Pilot Parks Project summer events calendar. As part of our free Trident Summer Program, we will be hosting free hour sessions of footie fun each week over 5 weeks of the school holidays.
On Wednesday afternoons, between 4-5pm, we will be at Winton Rec and on Thursday or Friday (varies weekly), between 4.30-5.30pm, we will be at Watermans Park in Christchurch. Aimed at children between the ages of 7-13, there is no charge to participate but booking in advance is required as numbers are strictly limited.

BCP Young Carers Funding
Can You Help Fund Our Young Carer Days?
Kids Initiative (KI) are delighted to be working with BCP and their officers who look after the many young carers under their care. KI is paying for the hire of venue and the coaching costs for up to 30 children to come and have a funday of football for 5 days during the summer holiday.
Due to their family circumstances, getting to and from the event is costly. We are looking for donations and sponsors to help us fund. the taxis and mini buses that will be needed to get the children there and back.
The cost per day we anticipate to be in the region of £400.

Somerford Youth Centre
FULL DAY FOOTBALL & MULTI-SPORT CAMPS IN JULY & AUGUST 2021
As part of our summer program, we are once more working with the Somerford Youth Centre to provide their children with 3 days of football and multi-sports fun during the summer holidays.
The Somerford Youth Centre is run completely on grants and donations and receives no local authority or government funding. It runs an amazing program of evening and holiday activities, looking after the well being of hundreds of local children in what is one of the most deprived areas of the UK.
In the past children from the Centre have had to travel by minibuses from Christchurch to attend our camps in Bournemouth so we are particularly pleased to have been able to secure the facilities of Grange school in Somerford to host this summer’s events.

BCP Young Carers Soccer Coaching Days
FREE FULL DAY FOOTBALL & MULTI-SPORT CAMPS IN JULY & AUGUST 2021
In conjunction with BCP’s Young Carers department, we are hosting full day football and multi-sport camps every Wednesday for children in their care for 5 weeks of the summer holidays.
There are in excess of 400 children and young adults across the BCP area who have the unrelenting responsibility of looking after or providing care for family members. The freedoms and fun that most children enjoy is denied them so we are delighted to be able to offer these deserving children a day off to come and have some fun and exercise.
The camps are being held at Longfleet school, Poole and we are providing places for 30 children per day.
In conjunction with The Gale Foundation Trust we are looking to raise the required £2000, please donate below.
